Recharge on Google Pay will be more expensive, using BSNL app may cause loss to you

Google-owned GPay, India’s leading fintech app, has also imposed a 1% surcharge on prepaid mobile recharge services like PhonePe and Paytm, although no announcement has been made by the company in this regard. But on social media, prepaid recharge is on the rise, and people’s reactions to it are coming to the fore.
Earlier, PhonePe and Paytm had also fixed a 1% charge on prepaid recharge, and now GPay has also joined the race. A few days ago, Google updated its payment terms; perhaps this could be a part of it.

These surcharges may be individual and may not be applicable to all customers. It is also possible that the company is expecting profits from frequent rechargers. According to social media, there is no charge for recharges less than Rs 100, but for every recharge above Rs 100, Rs 1 is charged.

For fact-checking, we also tried to recharge, but we were not asked to pay any additional fee. We tried to recharge Jio and Airtel, but we were seen paying only the recharge fee. Still, the news on social media cannot be called untrue.

After the imposition of surcharges by PhonePe and Paytm, conscious customers started using the official app of the telecom operator. It remains to be seen how much loss GPay may have to bear due to this. The mobile apps of Jio, Airtel, Vi, and BSNL are available on the Google Play Store and Apple Store. If the subscriber recharges his prepaid phone on the telecom operator’s official app, he will not have to pay any additional charges.

BSNL iPhone App Looking unsafe

We reviewed the apps of all the four operators, in which we faced some problem in operating the BSNL app, but the apps of all the other operators will undoubtedly eliminate your surcharge problem. We found BSNL’s iPhone app to be unsafe for the users, the UCC complaint section of BSNL app has been released in under development mode for very careless use.
